Planar optical structures and security elements based on multilayer systems

The basic goals, outcomes of the project are: To master a technology of low temperature deposition of thin films to polymer with optical nanostructured surface. The films will have defined absorption coefficient in the desired scope of wavelength (colour absorption filter). Moreover the films will have defined electrical properties such as conductivity and dielectric constant. The layers will be mainly based on metal oxides (TiO2, TiO2-x, WO3, WO3-x, Fe2O3, VO2). To manage the characterization of parameters of deposited layers to be able to identified the material of the layers. To use the knowledge for creation of layers for optical features and optical security elements similar to DOVIDs. To master the technology of low temperature deposition of thin films for nanostructured surfaces with determined surface coverage distribution.
